Mac only — one-time license
It zooms where you clicked. Before you thought to.
Click-aware framing
Every click and keystroke is read from the recording, not guessed after.
Ease curves, not jumps
Each move rides a tuned curve, so the frame settles instead of snapping.
Editable keyframes
Drag one along the timeline, change its scale, or delete it.
Vertical mode
Reframe the same take to 9:16 without recording it again.
Your cursor stops jittering. You do nothing.
Path smoothing
The recorded path is refitted to a curve. Nothing snaps, nothing wobbles.
Cursor scale
Up to 400%, so it stays readable in a 400px-wide email.
Click ripple
A soft mark on every click. On, off, or only when zoomed.
Auto-hide
The pointer fades after 1.2 seconds of stillness.
One preset, and every clip looks like the same product.
Backgrounds
Wallpaper, gradient or flat. Padding, radius and shadow are three sliders.
Camera bubble
Circle or rounded rect, docked to a corner, sliding out of the way.
Brand presets
Save the look once. Every teammate exports the same clip.
Any output
16:9 for the changelog, 9:16 for social, square for the docs.
An editor that thinks in scenes.
Own track each
Zoom, cursor, camera and audio never overwrite one another.
Non-destructive
Nothing is baked in. Change your mind after the export.
GPU preview
Full frame rate while you scrub, on Apple silicon and Intel.
Autosave
Every edit, immediately. There is no save button.
The rest of it, without the tour.
Auto captions
Transcribed on device, styled with the rest.
Keystroke overlay
Shortcuts appear as you press them.
Export presets
MP4, WebM, ProRes, GIF. Hardware encoded.
Transparent export
Alpha channel, for dropping onto a page.
Window & display
One window, one region, or 4K60 across screens.
System audio
Captured separately from the microphone.
Trim & speed
Cut the dead air, speed up the typing.
Motion blur
On fast pans, so nothing strobes.
Shareable link
Or a file. No account needed on the other end.

Cut editing from an hour to four minutes. I timed our last three release videos to be sure it wasn’t beginner’s luck.
The zoom keyframes are editable, which is the whole point. Auto-zoom gets it ninety percent right and I nudge the last ten.
Every demo we made used to look like a screen recording. These look like product films, and I never opened After Effects.
Cursor smoothing is the detail nobody asks for and everybody notices. Our onboarding walkthrough stopped feeling twitchy overnight.
I record docs walkthroughs three times a week. A 4K export lands in under thirty seconds and I’m back to writing.
We ship a changelog video with every release now. Before ScreenClip we managed roughly one a quarter.
One license, no seat math, no renewal email every month. It paid for itself on the first launch video.
Half our support replies are fifteen-second clips now. Reopened tickets dropped by a third in two months.
The studio backgrounds are restrained, which I appreciate. No neon gradients — just a frame that gets out of the way.
Recording at 60 fps and trimming on the timeline feels like editing audio: fast, reversible, no render wait between takes.
Our sales engineers make their own walkthroughs now. That used to be a design ticket and a two-day wait.
I ran a conference demo off a recording and nobody in the room could tell. The pacing is that clean.
Buy it once. Keep it forever.
No watermark, no export credits, no seat you forgot to cancel. Pay once and the app keeps recording long after your update window ends — or put your whole team on a subscription.

Questions,
answered.
Everything people ask before they hit download: requirements, privacy, formats and licensing.
Still stuck? Talk to us01What do I need to run ScreenClip?
macOS 13 Ventura or later, on Apple silicon or a 2018-or-newer Intel Mac. The app is a single 42 MB download, notarized by Apple, and wants roughly 2 GB of free disk space per hour of raw capture.
02Do my recordings ever leave my Mac?
No. Capture, zoom detection, cursor smoothing, backgrounds and export all run on-device on top of ScreenCaptureKit and Metal. There is no upload step, no cloud render queue, and no account needed to record: the app works with the network switched off.
03Can I record and export 4K at 60 fps?
Yes. ScreenClip captures at your display's native resolution up to 4K60 and exports to H.264, HEVC, ProRes 422, WebM or animated GIF. A two-minute demo exports in about 25 seconds on an M2.
04Does it work with external and multiple displays?
It does. Record a whole display, a single window, or a drawn region, including a Sidecar iPad. Mixed scaling factors are handled per display, so a Retina laptop screen and a 27-inch 1x monitor both come out sharp.
05Which audio sources can it capture?
System audio and your microphone at once, kept on separate tracks. Pick any input device, set per-track gain, then mute or drop either track after the take without touching the video.
06How large are the files?
Raw captures land around 60 MB per minute at 4K, written as HEVC. Finished exports are far smaller: a 30-second 1080p product demo usually ships between 4 and 9 MB, light enough to drop straight into a changelog or a support reply.
07Can I keep editing after I export?
Projects stay fully editable. Every zoom, cut, background and cursor curve is non-destructive, so you can reopen a recording months later and re-export at another size or format. Exports also open cleanly in Final Cut Pro, Premiere and DaVinci Resolve.
08Can I move my license to another Mac?
The license is one-time and yours: activate it on every Mac your plan covers, and deactivate any of them from Settings in one click. If it is not what you hoped for, write to us within 30 days for a full refund. There is no Windows build planned, since ScreenClip is built on Apple frameworks end to end.
